Working on “Green Erasmus”: eTwinning contact seminar for teachers

An eTwinning contact seminar within the framework of the Four Motors for Europe partnership took place online on 4 October 2023. The aim was to train teachers to be able to start school partnerships or joint projects within the framework of Erasmus+.

During the seminar, about 40 secondary school teachers of all school types in Catalonia, Lombardy, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and Baden-Wurttemberg worked on the topic of "Green Erasmus".

The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of Baden-Wurttemberg, which initiated the seminar, wants to encourage young people in the four regions to exchange ideas, especially on issues of nature, climate and the protection of resources. In joint projects, students can work on topics like energy, transportation, managing the scarcity of resources, waste management, recycling, the protection of species, biodiversity and many more.

The teachers taking part in the seminar appreciated the useful information on the eTwinning platform and the examples of best practice provided by the moderators Gabriele Hornstein and Sylvia Hüneke, both teachers in Baden-Wurttemberg.

The video conference was organised by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports in cooperation with the national eTwinning agencies of Germany, France, Spain and Italy.
